Day 45: Earworms

I've recently been listening to radio more than usually. And that's not very much, really. Even still I've already managed to get three songs stuck in my head. I'm gonna spread the joy.

(This one isn't quite as stuck in my head as the other two, but made me seriously want to listen to Juice Leskinen. So it counts.)

Day 44

I've got a job now. Haha, that happened pretty fast, didn't it.

Today has reminded me why I don't take part in debates on the net anymore. It's annoying when someone doesn't even realize what the matter is and keeps going on about something irrelevant. And the arguments are poor and facts messed up. It's tiring to be a smart one. ;)

Days 42 & 43

Little notes regarding the day (and yesterday, seeing as I failed to post yet again):

- Doggie has mainly been sleeping today. He really likes to visit the countryside, but it's apparently pretty tiring too! It's cute how well he and my mom's dogs get along nowadays.

- I've got a job interview tomorrow. Job interviews make some people really nervous, but I'm not one of them. I actually kinda like job interviews. Funny.

- I did some shopping today! If I wasn't so tired at the moment, I'd show off my new clothes. I didn't buy anything super special, though. I need new basic garments as well.

- Speaking of being tired: I really like this turn my sleeping rhythm seems to be taking. I get really tired at around 23:30 and am able to fall asleep at midnight. And waking up early (heh, 7:30-ish) isn't that painful nowadays. Awesome!

Day 41

I made a snowman today! Tomorrow I'll make another, a bigger one. Or then something totally different and awesome. I had completely forgotten how much fun playing in the snow can be.

Days 38, 39, 40...

Eh.

Been to Turku, been to school, been at home, now in the countryside! Work tomorrow, which is nice.

You know I love the shoes of Iron Fist. I think I need these. This pair is gorgeous as well. If I manage to decide which pair is nicer, I'll place an order tomorrow.

You know I also like reading. I finished The Grass Is Singing by Doris Lessing on Wednesday. I haven't read anything by Lessing before, but am definitely going to read now. Great storytelling, couldn't stop reading!

I think I'm going to watch the Shawshank Redemption tonight.

Day 37: Do not want...

...to get a flu. I might be just imagining the slightly sore throat and so on. I sure hope I am.

But I'm super tired, that's for sure. I think I'm going to pick up The Grass Is Singing by Doris Lessing and get comfy.

By the way: four weeks and four days till the holiday!

Day 36: Some pole blabbering before heading to Turku, yet again

So, Henriikka Roo won the Finnish championship in pole dancing. The competition was held on Saturday, but I just checked out some of the performances yesterday. Gotta love YouTube.

Henriikka's performance was of course beautiful. She is amazing.

But even though I'm a big fan of hers, I have to admit that I'm even bigger fan of Oona Kivelä, the winner of last year's competition and - for example - the Pole world cup 2011. I guess the thing is that Henriikka's style has a tad bit too much of ballet for me. I mean, it is her thing and she is simply great at pole dancing, but Oona's approach suits my personal preferences totally.

Just look in awe as she moves.

Definitely great performances both, that's for sure.

Bleh. Gotta hop on train soon. Do not want.
