Off to Turku today. Boo! The freezing weather adds to my suffering, walking from the train station to the flat is anything but pleasant when it's super cold. Sitting in the train for almost two hours and then stepping into the cold makes you seriously freeze.
But the sun was shining earlier today! Can't help dreaming about the spring. I do like winter, but hate the fact that the forecasts say it'll be insanely cold this week. And we'll get even more snow. That's ok, though. Snow isn't the enemy.
I bet they don't like snow.
The plants miss the sun and the spring, too!
Sunny spot in the bookshelf.
That picture in the frame is drawn by the Boyfriend. He's actually pretty damn good at drawing. He just doodled that one night at a karaoke bar. The sea shells are from a trip to Edinburgh in 2010. It was an amazing day, the sun was shining like crazy and it was so damn warm that we just had to go to the beach. And I got a little sun burnt! Who would've thought that would happen when you travel to Scotland in early May.
I'm reading Anna Karenina at the moment - as a "long time read". A chapter here and there while reading other books as well. I finished the book next to it in the picture, Irja Virtanen's Kenttäharmaita naisia, a little while ago. It was a good one, the end was pretty tragic even though you saw it coming.
ps. I wonder what the doggy is dreaming about. Seems to be a vivid dream... All those gestures and faces he is pulling are so cute.
