I don't remember if I mentioned that about a week ago I got the feeling that spring is coming. And now I'm sure of it! It's been an absolutely beautiful day: the sun woke me up and warmed me when I took the dog for a walk in the morning. Wow. Should've taken pictures, it was such a pretty day.
The melting snow has made the air moist and it's very misty at the moment. The picture doesn't really do justice. But you can try to imagine: on the upper side of the picture you can see a sort of cluster of yellow light. There's actually a big building there.
Spring often makes people want to clean every spot in their houses and I'm no exception. I started with this:
And now I have a growing pile of clothes to get rid of. I already have a couple of huge plastic bags full of disqualified clothes in the attic. I just can't bring myself to take the last step and really get rid of them.
I decided that when the flat is completely tidied, I'll host a little spring themed party. Everything from drinks and food to decorations shall be fresh yellow or (lime) green. I love planning fun little things like that! I already have some ideas.
Ah. Now I'll eat something little and then head to bed. I was planning on going to see a band in which a friend plays - and a good band it is - but didn't end up going after all. Which now seems like a good idea, I would've been way too tired and then there's this little throbbing headache bothering me. But I would've loved to see them play!
Oh, and one more thing! I tasted a piece of heaven today: Italian styled ice cream made by Tampereen jäätelötehdas. The chocolate chip ice cream was simply delicious. Better than the ice cream we had in Italy!
